I have over 10 years of nursing experience working with individuals across the lifespan in various settings. I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and from Northern Kentucky University with a Master of Science in Nursing in Psychiatric Mental Health. As a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I am enthusiastic about incorporating my experience, skills, and knowledge to establish an enduring and trusting relationship with clients and hope to make a difference in their lives. In my free time I enjoy spending time with loved ones, listening to music, traveling, and working with animal shelters.

I utilize a holistic approach which supports mental and physical health while incorporating compassionate, evidence-based care. I understand the complexity of mental health and my goal is to enhance my clients’ lives. It is important to me to apply an integrated approach, where your input is encouraged and validated. Together we can develop an individualized plan tailored to your specific needs and preferences. My goal is to assist you in developing the best treatment plan for you, one which empowers you to overcome whatever concerns you.

Your first session will be an opportunity to discuss your questions and concerns regarding your mental health. I will diagnose, recommend treatment, and prescribe medications as indicated. If you are a candidate for medication, we will create a plan together and follow up routinely to ensure your progress. I strive to create an environment that will allow you to feel comfortable, respected, confident, and cared for. I am also happy to provide additional skills and educational material to further empower you in your treatment and instill confidence as you progress in your healing.
