Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LISW
Last Updated 30+ days ago

Hi there! My name is Meg Murdock, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. Prioritizing mental health isn't always easy, but you've taken the first step and I'm glad you're here, no matter the reason. Through more than 10 years of experience, I have been fortunate to be a part of many treatment journey's, meeting with people at different ages and stages of their lives. Within the last few years I have primarily focused on treating general anxiety symptoms, stress management within family systems and life style changes.
I pride myself on being open, realistic, and accepting in treatment. I practice through a trauma-informed lens, using evidence-based CBT, exposure response therapy, parent-child interaction therapy, and mindfulness strategies. Once we decide to work together, I will be your partner in personal growth, there to support and challenge you along the way.
I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable and secure, while sharing and being vulnerable. I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We'll work together to figure that out and create a plan to make your goals become a reality.
