About Me

I’m Rachael Marble Leary, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and I take an eclectic, client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals.

With extensive experience supporting people navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, chronic illness, and addiction, I find deep meaning in helping those I work with discover healthier ways of being in the world and in relationships.

I integrate evidence-based therapies, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-inspired parts work, mindfulness practices, and somatic approaches. I also incorporate insights from neuroscience and behavioral economics, all within a trauma-informed framework that emphasizes empathy—and, when appropriate, humor.

My personal exploration of mindfulness and meditation through yoga and Tibetan Buddhism informs my work, with mindfulness woven into my approach and additional practices available for those interested.

Beyond traditional therapy settings, I have experience in adventure-based therapy, integrating psychotherapy with activities like ropes courses, rock climbing, and wilderness expeditions. I strongly believe in the healing power of nature and, in Central Oregon, offer outdoor therapy options, such as meeting in a park or engaging in a walking session.

I also provide integration sessions for people processing experiences with altered states of consciousness, including those related to psychedelic therapies.
