Mandisa Sherife-Kekulah
Mandisa (Man-dee-sa Sharif- Ka-kuh-la) holds a master’s degree from the University of Toledo in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With her bachelor's degree in Theater, Mandisa understands the importance of being authentic and being present for every moment. Their experience includes refraining and identifying negative thinking, identifying steps to be a more authentic version of self, and positive self-talk/affirmations. Mandisa is versed in Person-Centered, Humanistic, Cognitive, Behavioral, Solution-Focused therapist to assist in identifying and developing coping mechanisms appropriate for each person. Their areas of interest are individuals who identify or experience invisible illnesses, disabilities, emerging adulthood (19-25), LGBTQIA+ community, and those looking to develop a better relationship with themselves.
Mandisa’s philosophy as a therapist is to treat each person as a unique individual, worthy of unconditional acceptance, regardless of their circumstances or struggles. They desire to come alongside, challenge, and encourage their clients to find healing emotionally, mentally, and physically.
In their free time, they enjoy spending time with their dog, gardening, and enjoying true crime podcasts.
