This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
For the last 17 years I have worked in various roles in the medical setting, mental health, and in education. Having worked as an adjunct faculty member in higher education, I also have a great grasp of the types of struggles college students face. I am adept at navigating the education system for students with disabilities, and really enjoy working with students.
I am very comfortable working with individuals in life-rocking transitions, including trauma, grief/loss, and stress related to ongoing illness, anxiety, and/or depression. My hope is to help you ease the emotional and mental suffering that goes along with these difficult times in life, and to find optimal functioning and wellness in the life you want. I offer affirming care to the LGBTQ+ community.
I bring a lot of warmth, compassion, and humor to the therapy process. In our work together I hope you will find new ways to "turn down" the thoughts and worries that bring you away from your goals, and "turn up" the experiences that bring you joy. If you think we'd be a good fit in our work together, I'd love to hear from you.
