I believe that anyone can benefit from counseling, whether or not you have a significant mental health issue or are just facing stressful situations and life transitions. I work collaboratively with each individual client to form goals and a treatment plan that is as unique as the person I'm working with. Common issues that I help clients with include (but are not limited to): anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, anger management, relationship issues, LGBTQIA issues and concerns, self-esteem, family issues, and overall self-improvement. Some clients are looking for short-term counseling to address a specific issue that they currently face, while others are looking for long-term counseling to work through issues from the past or to learn to cope with chronic symptoms. I am here to help no matter where you fall on that spectrum! I am also happy to speak with you on the phone before setting up an initial appointment to determine if I am a good fit for what you hope to get out of therapy.
