Madeline Goodwill, LCSW
We all experience challenges in life and asking for help often times isn’t easy. I am passionate about helping people feel better and less impacted from their struggles. I meet people where they are at and work to help you in a realistic and approachable manner. Over the course of my career I have been blessed to find myself working with many college students, young adults, and adults who are struggling with anxiety disorders and OCD along with life challenges. I always make sure to focus on an individual’s internal strengths to help empower them in their life.
I specialize in the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) providing evidence based treatment that will help you develop tools to cope. I make sure to collaborate with my patients on what goals are important for them to reach through our time together. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling with anxiety disorders and obsessive compulsive disorder. I also have worked with co-occurring depression and ADHD. I have received advanced training from Postpartum Support International on Perinatal Mental Health regarding anxiety, OCD, and depression.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my Master’s in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. My prior experience includes working as a Pediatric social worker at St. Louis Children’s hospital with the cystic fibrosis population providing support to patients and their families on an inpatient and outpatient basis. I have also worked with substance abuse patients providing therapy in individual and group settings at an inpatient treatment program.
