Mackenzie Poisal
Hello and welcome! I received my master's degree in Social Work from Portland State University and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Oregon. In addition to my foundational training, I've received specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
My approach to therapy is solution-focused, client-centered, and trauma informed, which means I prioritize ensuring that each individual feels heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. I specialize in addressing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, parenting issues, and grief.
My goal is to foster a safe and supportive environment where each individual feels safe to explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and work towards meaningful change. I look forward to the opportunity to work together and support you on your path!
