You are the expert of your own experience and know best what supports you and what may no longer be serving you. In our work together, I will seek to highlight and validate how the social environment and systems have impacted your relationship with yourself and others, and to use the therapy space as an opportunity to dismantle hierarchies. To do this, I use an integrated, person-centered psychodynamic approach grounded in compassion.
This includes using concepts from Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatics, mindfulness and analysis. I identify as queer and will bring a queer lens to our work together by asking how you have constructed meaning of your world, by recognizing your strengths and by supporting you in developing new insight.
I am a Licensed Master of Social Work, an artist and an educator. I have experience working with people in creative fields, navigating their gender and sexual identities, anxiety, depression, life and career transitions and higher education.
