Sam Kent - Lost & Found Therapy LLC
It's normal to feel lost, we are after all, human. If you're looking for a therapeutic experience that's a little quirky, queer, neurodivergent, and fat positive, you've come to the right place. My goal is to provide you with a space where you can truly be yourself - no matter what that looks like. As a queer, neurodivergent therapist, I know what it's like to search for a therapist who can relate to lived experiences - connection is the foundation of any relationship, especially a therapeutic one.
My approach is person-centered, compassion focused, trauma-informed, and health at every size (HAES). I come from an all foods fit model in conjunction with intuitive eating. Everyone is welcome and everyone is accepted regardless of how you identify. I specialize in the treatment and management of eating disorders as well as providing gender-affirming care. I am a certified intuitive eating counselor, Question Persuade, Refer (QPR) Instructor, and I am also EMDR trained.
I'm a human that believes all humans deserve to be seen, heard, respected, cared for, and given a safe space to grow. Laughter is a must (when you're ready), expression through art is encouraged, and trivia about video games is welcomed. I can't wait to meet you, hear your story, and support you on this wild ride we call life.
