Welcome. Clients I work best with usually share at least one of the following issues in common: persistent sadness, uncontrollable worry, relationship issues, excessive substance/alcohol use, perfectionism, and/or a traumatic event, such as an assault. I meet with potential clients via a brief, free phone call initially to determine if I am a good fit for their needs. Next steps are an intake session for about 90 minutes, followed by (usually) weekly, hourly sessions, and eventually a step down to biweekly sessions with termination thereafter. The focus of sessions is on identifying and achieving clients' goals for satisfaction in their lives.
