A friend recently asked me how to find a therapist who would really fit for her sister. She wanted someone more extroverted than introverted, and realized that this isn't always the easiest thing to pick up from a blurb on the the interwebs.
So what are some of those strange little tells that let a person know that they might be kindred spirits? I am here to help with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and all the normal sorts of things that bring people to therapy in the first place. One could assume the same of everyone else on the list though, so how do you choose?
Since we started doing teletherapy during quarantine, it has become clear that the majority of "my people" are cat people. Who knew? My clients, like myself, are often extroverts and high achievers, who don't like to admit that they are high achievers. We tend to be a touch snarky, with hidden depths that need some exploration.
Maybe this sounds like you? Maybe it doesn't. But if you are feeling curious, check out my website, or drop me an email with any questions you might have.
