Hello, I'm Lora. I have a deep desire to help individuals, couples, and families overcome challenges in everyday life. Whether you are struggling with conflict in marriage, parent-child relationships, or individual struggles such as anxiety, depression, major life transitions, spiritual issues, addiction, grief, or trauma, I would love the opportunity to come alongside you to assist you in navigating through these difficult times.
With over 10 years of counseling experience, I bring a wealth of life experience to the table as a wife, mom of three teenage boys, and a military veteran and spouse. I hold a Master's degree and am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. My approach to therapy is eclectic, as I do not believe there is a 'one size fits all' method. I tailor a unique approach for each client, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, attachment therapy, solution-focused therapy, and others. For families, I incorporate elements of Bowenian and Strategic therapies.
I strive to develop a genuine relationship with my clients, believing this is crucial for success in the therapy process. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we will work towards your goals and find the best path forward.
Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending time with my family and understand the complexities and joys that come with balancing various roles. My experiences as a military veteran and spouse have also given me a unique perspective on the challenges faced by military families.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions you have about the next steps in the healing process. I look forward to the possibility of working together and supporting you on your journey to well-being.
