Hello, I'm Lisa. I want to help you find joy and adventure in your life because I believe life is short, and we should live it to the fullest each day. With 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I specialize in working with clients facing mild to severe mental illness. My journey has allowed me to work closely with children separated from their families due to abuse, neglect, or parental substance abuse, as well as clients involved in the criminal justice system.

I hold a Master's in Social Work (MSW) and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that there is real power in listening to someone's story and truly understanding who they are and what they have experienced. The connection that forms when someone feels heard is a powerful mechanism for change. I believe our life experiences shape our ways of thinking about what we see and hear, and by creating alternative ways of thinking and interacting with others, we can lead more positive lives.

I specialize in a wide range of areas, including addiction, anger management, antisocial behavior, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, family relationships, gender identity, grief/bereavement, life transitions, military/veteran support, PTSD, psychosis/schizophrenia, stress, suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors, and trauma. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth sessions for those who prefer or require remote therapy.

If you're ready to embark on a journey towards a more fulfilling life, I'm here to listen and support you every step of the way. Let's work together to create the positive changes you seek.
