Lisa M. Canzano, LLC
Most important to the success of therapy is first establishing a non-judgmental, collaborative relationship so together we can identify and flexibly address your particular needs. From there our work may include identifying familiar patterned behaviors and learning specific coping and problem solving skills to allow for new ways to relate to yourself, to others, to strengthen your mind, and deepen your emotional resilience. Our work will draw on a combination of treatment modalities including short-term solution-focused practices, mindfulness, and neurobiological understandings. My approach is integrative, dynamic, and relational, working with a range of issues including procrastination, anger, anxiety, depression, and mood and dissociative disorders. I am intensively trained in DBT, CBT, and Systems theory, with extensive experience treating trauma and complex PTSD. I also have trainings in somatic psychotherapy and am a Level II Hakomi Somatic Psychotherapist.
I provide psychotherapy with compassion, humor, and the ability to be direct and genuine. Feel free to give me a call and have a brief phone conversation before scheduling your first appointment.
