Engaging in therapy is an act of bravery and self-love. I have immediate openings for telehealth and in person sessions, including weekends. If you are experiencing a life transition, exploring new independence, examining your identity, or needing help processing past traumas, I’m here to support you on your healing journey. Societal issues can also have an impact on our day to day life as well. I offer a safe place where you will feel seen, heard, and supported. My approach is collaborative, person centered, direct using gentle confrontation when appropriate. I work with a variety of clients who may be healing from trauma, experiencing grief and loss, exploring their identity, or grappling with relationship issues to name a few. I tailor each session to the unique needs of my clients.
I use a strengths-based, holistic approach, integrating a variety of techniques and theoretical approaches that include; narrative (empowering you to write the rest of your story), CBT (to help with stuck patterns) and a systems-based approach.
If you experience awful panic attacks, I'll give you strategies to tolerate and manage them so you can stop canceling plans at the last minute. I use mindfulness techniques to help you gain control over anxiety.
