College is a very stressful time for the most well adjusted person, I am here to listen, guide and support you through your adjustment. I will help you explore your areas of concern. I am here to guide you, not tell you what you need. You are the expert of your life, I can offer you skills to help you overcome the uncomfortable feelings. I offer online therapy as well as in-person sessions.
I believe therapy is an opportunity for people to develop insight into themselves in order to find self-acceptance and a deeper connection with others. We will explore the barriers that are interfering with reaching your desired goals. I will support you in developing new coping strategies that can be applied to a variety of life situations. Feelings are overwhelming and unhealthy patterns are developed as a defense. I will encourage you and gently guide you through the challenges.
