This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
Link OT provides multi-faceted support to neurodistinct individuals seeking or sustaining employment or other life goals.
We also partner with employers to improve neuro-inclusive recruitment, hiring, onboarding, integration, and retention/career development practices.
Link OT serves students who may struggle in the following areas:
- Self-regulation, i.e. ability to calm and cope and get through the day,
- Determining career or personal direction,
- Task prioritization, shifting between tasks, and time management,
- Short-term, long-term, and working memory,
- Completing multi-step tasks (such as daily routines, assignments, etc),
- Communication and feeling misunderstood and unappreciated,
- Over-stimulation by various sensory stimuli in their environment (such as loud noise, crowds, people in personal space, temperature),
- Sitting still and focusing on work,
- Sleep, nutrition, energy level, pain or discomfort, staying active, etc.,
- Physical mobility, dexterity, or feeling awkward or clumsy.
