Beechwood Counseling

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LICSW
Accepting clients Last Updated 23 days ago

I specialize in supporting college and post college young adults. I aim to partner with clients to help them develop a strong sense of self, healthy relationships, appropriate boundaries, and effective coping skills. With so many choices and responsibilities in this 21st century, it’s not unusual to feel paralyzed, anxious or depressed, especially during life's transition periods. Suddenly it may feel as if there is no “right choice” or even “a choice”, which can trigger symptoms of depression and anxiety which affect our self-care, relationships and school/professional lives.

In our work together, I would like to partner with you to help you gain clarity and confidence to find the best choices for you. In my 13+ years of clinical work, I have developed a style that centers on our therapeutic relationship. Compassion and humor are core values of mine in this work, as well as gentle yet direct communication.
