Hello and welcome! Lindsey worked in the Counseling Center at Washington University for over six years before transitioning to private practice. As such, she has first hand experience and knowledge regarding the various struggles and demands that exist in a university setting. She has seen how therapy can be immensely beneficial during times of stress and uncertainty. She enjoys working with undergraduates, graduate/Ph.D students, faculty, and university staff.
Lindsey is a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of clinical experience. She specializes in working with teens, young adults and adults. Her treatment approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and collaborative. She will help you set goals, examine unhealthy coping patterns and build on internal strengths.
Lindsey's expertise spans a wide array of clinical concerns, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, body image concerns, relationship issues and life transitions. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Insight Oriented Psychotherapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy in order to ensure a tailored approach to each client.
She strives to create a safe and warm environment where you feel comfortable working through past experiences and present concerns. Lindsey believes therapy is a journey to find the strength which already exists within you. We will work closely together and collaborate throughout your treatment. I look forward to working with you.
I can provide you with paperwork for reimbursement from your insurance company if you are seeking out-of-network sessions.
