Many clients come to me because they feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in unhelpful thought loops, or frustrated by compulsions and avoidant behaviors. You might be dealing with ruminating or racing thoughts, intense physical symptoms, or the pressure of managing ADHD in a world that doesn’t always make room for different ways of thinking and being.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), specific phobias, and neurodivergence, including ADHD. Whether you’re dealing with internal distress or external stressors, like work burnout, family dynamics, relationship strain, or low self-esteem, therapy can be a space to pause, reflect, and move forward with intention.
Using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I help you identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. This structured, goal-oriented approach fosters insight and empowers you to make meaningful changes in how you think and respond to life’s challenges.
I also incorporate acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), which helps you build psychological flexibility, staying present with hard emotions while taking purposeful action aligned with your core values. For those who feel stuck, ACT’s emphasis on mindfulness and self-compassion can offer a shift in perspective.
With dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), I help you build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. These tools can be especially helpful for people who feel emotions intensely or have difficulty navigating relationships or impulsivity.
When working with patients with ADHD, I use psychoeducation and a strengths-based perspective to support time management, executive functioning, and self-advocacy. I also work with parents of neurodivergent children and have experience supporting children with autism.
You can expect therapy with me to be supportive, collaborative, and grounded in your lived experience. I approach care with a whole-body perspective, recognizing how all aspects of your identity and background shape your emotional health. I value collaboration in the therapy space. You’ll gain tools and insight, but you’ll also be encouraged to use your own wisdom and instincts as we work together.
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by a passion for helping people transform labels or diagnoses into sources of strength. I’m committed to creating a space that is safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering, where you can explore challenges and build confidence in your ability to navigate them.
Let’s work together to help you feel more in control, grounded, and supported. When you’re ready, I’m here to get started.
