Dr. Morgens completed her Master’s Degree in psychology at Wesleyan University and her Doctorate at Florida State University. Subsequently, she completed her clinical training at McLean Hospital / Harvard Medical school. She also completed post-doctoral training in Neuropsychology as a Fellow at Harvard Medical School and participated as a Research Fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Morgens is currently a Lecturer of Psychology at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Morgens works with children, adolescents, and adults, and specializes in evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Group Therapy, Mindfulness and Behavior Management. She also specializes in Comprehensive Educational, Psychological and Neuropsychological Testing.

Dr. Morgens’ clinical interests include Depression, Anxiety Disorders (e.g., Social Anxiety, Phobias, OCD), Adjustment Disorders, Family and Relationship/Peer conflict, Executive Dysfunction and Attention Disorders, Gender Transition support, Academic Motivation and School Failure, Social Skills Training, and Parenting/discipline Problems.

Dr. Morgens has extensive experience working with a variety of populations, including Neuro-diverse populations (e.g., Autism Spectrum), LGBTQ+, and individuals coming from multi-cultural backgrounds.

Dr. Morgens grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL as a first generation American, from a Cuban family. She is married and has two children. In her spare time, she enjoys participating in her children’s activities by serving as a “Makeup Head” for their local school plays and musicals, acting as a “Roadie” for her son’s Magic Act, and “Silent Assistant” for her daughter’s Balloon Art business. Growing up, Dr. Morgens enjoyed dancing and running track, and as an adult enjoys musical theater, opera, skiing, and restoring antiques with her husband.

Group Therapy Rates (if not billed to Insurance):
Intake Session: $185 - $250 (depends on group)
Group Sessions: $85

Dr. Morgens accepts all BCBS plans, as well as all other PPO, POS plans that allow Out-of-Network benefits.
For example, Harvard Pilgrim, Optum Behavioral Health, etc.
