Hello, I'm Lenda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for helping individuals, families, and groups navigate life's challenges. With a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park, my educational background has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you on your journey to wellness.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working in diverse settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and military environments. My experience spans working with adults, adolescents, and families, addressing issues such as relationships and self-esteem, mood and thought disorders, substance abuse, PTSD, and brain injuries. One of my proudest achievements was co-creating and implementing an Intensive Outpatient Program and a women's support group at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in a holistic approach, where I assess underlying problems and tailor goals to each individual's needs. I believe in the power of creativity and often encourage art therapy as a means of expression and healing. It's incredibly rewarding to be part of someone's journey towards a well-balanced life.

Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or navigating a life transition, I'm here to help. I also specialize in supporting military personnel and veterans, understanding the unique challenges they face. My approach is compassionate and client-centered, ensuring that you feel heard and supported every step of the way.

Outside of my professional life, I value the importance of balance and creativity, which I bring into my practice. If you're ready to take the next step towards a healthier, more fulfilling life, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to achieve your goals and enhance your well-being.
