Welcome to Swift Running Waters Counseling. I serve students and residents of Eastern Connecticut using a strengths-based, client-centered approach. My mission is to assist you in identifying and using your natural strengths to promote resilience during your healing and recovery journey. During our time together, we will work to build solutions for what you're going through. I will encourage you to look at your concerns about the future, the patterns of your past, and will guide you in the practice of being more present.
My specialties include mood disorders (depression, bipolar), anxiety, life transitions and coping skills. Additional topics I am passionate about are career exploration, self-care and reflecting on relationship dynamics.
Feel free to call or email with any inquires or questions. Once contact is made, we will schedule a free 15-minute consultation session to explore what you are looking for and to get you set up.
