Lauren Lusk
I believe all individuals have an untold story within, and there is no greater honor as a therapist than to both hear and hold their story and pain with them. I am a collaborative therapist who believes in clients' autonomy and views clients as the experts of their own lives. Through a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy, I work with individuals to learn to more clearly understand their story and present situation, deepen their self awareness, and grow towards a more peaceful, meaningful, and fulfilling life.
For nearly a decade, I have treated a diverse range of clients in a variety of settings. I have specialized training in treating eating disorders and have worked with adults and families across levels of care. I am also comfortable and enjoy working with other client concerns including depression, anxiety, interpersonal challenges, and life transitions. My office is conveniently located in downtown Richmond, Virginia and is accessible from Henrico, Chesterfield, and Hanover. Please reach out directly to set up a 10-15 minute consultation call to see if we might be a good fit. I look forward to hearing your story and walking with you towards sustainable, life-enhancing change.
