Lauren Lang
I empower individuals to overcome personal obstacles to improve their lives by providing a unique individualized treatment plan for each client. I have been working in the mental health field since 2009. I use clinically tested and evidence-based interventions as well as a personal and warm approach to help my clients overcome symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, as well as mood disorders. I have experience working with young adults with ADHD to help with executive functioning.
I have extensive training in helping clients who have experienced trauma, loss, or difficulty coping with change. I was a clinical member of the Critical Incident for Stress Management (CISM) team that provided trauma treatment and support to first responders. I have a background in forensic treatment and evaluation and court testimony.
I understand how difficult it can be to take our first steps into seeing a therapist. I believe we grow through our own adversities and at times need to be nurtured and challenged. I have experience working with a broad demographic that ranges from children to geriatric. Let me help you in regaining your confidence to create a better version of yourself.
I'm a therapist with Octave and Evernorth Behavioral Care Group. Octave is a mental health practice providing high-quality care covered by multiple insurances. Evernorth Behavioral Care Group is a behavioral health provider group in-network with Cigna Healthcare and Evernorth. For my availability, please reach out to Octave’s team by emailing or calling.
