Hello, I'm Lauren. Life is not always easy and often takes a turn in a direction that you may not have seen coming. Whether you are in a season of transition, loss, grief, or wanting to grow and become the best version of you, I would love to walk alongside you. As a counselor, I work through a person-centered, Adlerian, and trauma-informed lens to create a safe space for my clients to recognize, process, and work through the emotions and thoughts that come along in life. I love meeting my clients where they are and, through therapy, helping them gain insight and come to recognize their full potential.
I hold an MA and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. My specialties include perinatal support (pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum), PTSD, spirituality, stress, trauma, anxiety, autism spectrum support, developmental disabilities, family relationships, grief/bereavement, life transitions, and intimate/romantic relationships. I enjoy working with clients facing life transitions such as going to college, post-grad life, marriage, becoming a parent, starting new jobs, and more. Additionally, I support clients dealing with infertility, setting boundaries, past trauma, anxiety, and parenting a child with special needs.
I have a heart for Christian Counseling, and for my clients who want this incorporated in their healing journey, I am happy to do this. However, I will never push this on clients and love working with clients from all backgrounds.
If you're ready to take the next step in your journey, I would be honored to support you. Let's work together to help you gain the insight and strength you need to recognize your full potential.
