Laura Taets

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW, APHSW-C
Last Updated 30+ days ago

My clients are individuals in CT and VT (telehealth) whose lives have directly or indirectly been impacted by challenges such as trauma, anxiety, burnout, uncertainty, life transition, grief, immigration, complex family dynamics, identity conflicts, illness, caretaking & more.

We all have our own histories, experiences, cultures, and beliefs that shape us into who we are today and that shape our experiences. It's my belief that there are no universal right and wrong thoughts, feelings & experiences; rather thoughts, feelings & experiences are as individual as we each are. Likewise, there's no one size fits all approach to therapy.

Who we are today is a product of our unique lived experiences & circumstances. Past struggles, successes, choices, & strengths become part of our internal fabric, impacting our distinct experience of & coping with today's challenges. Through this lens & at a pace that's right for you, I help you feel better & more in control. We'll even smile along the way.

Want to find out more? Don't be nervous or hesitant. I am safe, trustworthy & do not judge. Clients say I'm easy to talk to. I invite you to take the first step of reaching out to schedule a free, no obligation phone conversation. We can talk, get to know each other & I can answer your questions. I look forward to hearing from you! My practice is inclusive of all individuals and values diversity, equity & inclusion.
