ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. Adjusting to life as a young adult can be confusing and challenging as well as exciting. Therapy can provide a safe environment to work through difficulties, cope with intense feelings, and move toward positive change. In my approach to therapy, you will find warm support, as well as encouragement to look inward and take action at your own pace. I will listen to you carefully, and if needed, respectfully challenge you to take responsibility for your life while letting go of self-blame.

I enjoy working with clients from diverse ages and backgrounds. I have particular experience with issues of life transitions, social and academic adjustment, relationship challenges, anxiety including performance anxiety, and loss. I work from a relational and developmental perspective that draws on my training in existential philosophy, narrative and psychodynamic therapies, and mindful self-compassion.
