Accepting clients Last Updated 14 days ago

My name is Latori Griffin and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I am the newest associate at the Gainesville Family Institute and I’m excited to be a part of such a legendary institution! I see individuals (adults, teens and children), families and couples who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, major life transitions, and complex relationships. My specialty areas include seeing clients from underserved backgrounds with challenging life circumstances, racial/cultural traumas, substance use/abuse (including reunification counseling for clients who have lost custody of children), career and educational planning, and relational traumas. My goals are to offer a holistic approach to therapy that is concerned with the whole person and is conducive to growth and healing. Considering the spiritual, emotional, physical, psychological, social and societal aspects of a client’s experiences are of the utmost importance in creating an environment of warmth and support. I utilize psycho-educational groups, Relational-Cultural Therapy, Emotionally Focused therapy (EFT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) in addition to various Strategic and Transgenerational family therapy modalities to help my clients realize long term well-being. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
