Hello, I'm Larissa. If you are looking here, things are probably feeling pretty out of control. You are not experiencing the joy you dream of. You are feeling sad or scared. Maybe you are arguing more or isolating from your loved ones. You are trying to keep everything together and it's getting exhausting. It feels like everything is falling apart. It's time for a change. You want to relax and enjoy life. You're ready to feel better.
I am a strengths-based therapist; we will work towards meeting goals using the best things about you. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where you can process your feelings and navigate the stress of adjusting to a new normal. I am currently offering telehealth therapy via a secure HIPAA-compliant platform, with times that are convenient for you, including weekends and evenings. My last available time is 9 PM. I also offer a free 15-minute telephone or video consultation to find out if I am a good fit to meet your needs.
With over twenty years of experience helping families, children, and adults, I have worked with people from all walks of life. From assisting families involved with public systems like Childrenâs Services and Juvenile Court, to assessing and treating inmates with substance use disorders and mental illness in the county jail, to counseling residents of long-term care facilities as they adjust to loss of independence and physical challenges. I am passionate about helping others connect to their strengths in order to meet their needs.
I specialize in working with individuals experiencing stress, family relationships, depression, addiction, anxiety, bipolar disorder, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, trauma, anger management, grief/bereavement, life transitions, multicultural/diversity issues, spirituality, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, medical issues/physical health, and more. If these concerns are ones youâd like to better manage and you live in Ohio, please contact me and we can arrange a session to help you find ways to cope.
I care deeply about my clients' lives and believe the foundation of a positive therapy experience is a strong therapeutic relationship. I offer a warm and open-minded approach to identifying barriers to change and processing emotions related to self-care and self-love. I look forward to working with you on your path toward empowerment and living a more flourishing life you love.
I hold a Master of Science in Social Administration as well as a Master of Science in Positive Organization Development & Change from Case Western Reserve University. My Bachelor of Arts in Social Work is from Cleveland State University. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision designation in the State of Ohio.
