Are you feeling overwhelmed under the pressures of facing adulthood, career choice, independence, success/failure, and the "future," particularly in these stressful times? Finding someone older who really gets it, and opening up to a stranger can also be really stressful to think about- I totally understand! I promise, I really get all that you may be struggling with and can help. I strive to provide a relaxed, supportive, and completely judgment-free space for all clients to help them figure it all out, know and like themselves, manage stress well, and take on each new day confidently.
Through a compassionate trauma-informed, strengths-based lens, I seek to help my clients become empowered to heal, grow, and thrive. I work with adults, including many Gen Z folk, from various backgrounds, ethnicities, and faiths.
My areas of focus include anxiety/depression, loss/grief, trauma, PTSD, stress, burnout, perfectionism, emotional blocks, Self-esteem/Body Image, Self Identity exploration struggles, phase of life adjustment, childhood/attachment wounds, interpersonal/relationship issues, codependence, anger management, substance misuse, and career counseling; I also offer provide a Faith-based orientation by request.
While therapy does involve a lot of listening and talking about thoughts, feelings, and behaviors/actions, it is different from being with a friend, because it provides unbiased, nonjudgemental feedback and alternative perspectives for new consideration, along with structure and accountability towards your stated goals for therapy (not mine!). Besides integrating various models of talking therapy, I also utilize a holistic neuro-cognitive, physiological approach to total well-being, helping clients improve physical health factors and incorporating mind-body therapies, such as mindfulness practices, Brainspotting (BSP), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Call or email me today- let's work together towards your goals of becoming the very best version of yourself!
