Are you struggling with constant thoughts about the “what ifs” or worst case scenarios in your life? Are there things that you have to do in a certain way or else it doesn’t feel right or it feels like something bad will happen? You may try to find relief and answers to your fears by searching the internet for hours or even asking for reassurance from your friends, significant other, and family constantly. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with Anxiety, OCD, and/or Depression, those who feel stuck in a cycle of worrying and getting more caught up in preventing those fears from coming true rather than actually being able to live their lives. My ideal client struggles with intense discomfort (physically and emotionally) with these “what ifs” or “this may happen if I do/don’t do xyz..” thoughts in their lives and/or have specific rituals or ways of doing things that take up a lot of time, causing rifts in their home life, their relationships, and at work as well.
I can help you. My approach encompasses understanding the root of your fears and worries and then building on ways to gradually face them. In our sessions, I teach you how to identify the unhelpful thoughts, how to sit through the physical and emotional discomfort, and learn that your worst fear may not come true or how to cope and handle it when it happens.
