Finally deciding to seek out therapy can sometimes feel overwhelming and even increase uncomfortable feelings. Finding the "right fit" with a therapist may mean having that momentary discomfort of making that first phone call... but you are worth it when it means finally getting the support you deserve. I am open to chatting or emailing to find out if I am the right fit for you or if I can help you find someone who is.

Don't be afraid to ask questions. (You can also find me on Facebook at Castle Counseling, LLC and on Instagram @castle_counseling_ to get a little sense of who I am ).

My practice is women-centered with a holistic and integrative focus on helping you process traumatic or challenging life experiences. I hold an advanced certification in complex trauma. I use evidence based practices with a focus on compassion-focused, somatic-based interventions. I work to create a safe, connected and nurturing space where you can feel grounded in healing.

My work is highly individualized based on your unique needs. I will always treat a you as a person and not a "diagnosis". In working with difficult emotions my goal is always to instill hope and provide education about regulating the nervous system and restoring a sense of safety. Using a combination of both cognitive (talk) and somatic (body) based strategies we will work together to discover your unique pathway to healing. We will strive to cultivate peace and joy in your daily life and to give you real life tools to use outside of the therapy office. I know, first hand, that recovery and healing can feel difficult, but it is not impossible!

As a women's centered practice, we will work together to help safely connect body, mind and spirit through an active understanding of how the body stores emotion, holds experiences and is very often the key to healing. My goal is to offer you a truly safe space where genuine personal growth and relief from suffering can occur.

Please feel free to call, reach out and ask me any questions...I am open to just talking with you and helping you find the right path on your healing journey.
