Kristin Williams, LPC
A lot of the students I work with are trying to juggle classes, friends, family, a rigorous academic schedule, all the while trying to maybe work, eat well, get sleep, and figure out what’s next—and it can feel overwhelming. Some deal with stress, anxiety, or low mood, while others are navigating breakups, roommate issues, or just the pressure of having to “have it all together.”
I tend to connect best with students who are open to talking things through, even if they’re not sure what they need yet. You don’t have to have the answers or know exactly what you want out of counseling—that’s something we can figure out together.
I have worked in higher education prior to starting my private counseling practice, both at Colorado School of Mines and CU Boulder assisting students with their mental health and career direction - I understand the unique pressures students are under, specifically STEM students.
It’s completely normal to feel lost or stuck at times. Having a space to talk it out, gain perspective, and feel supported can make a big difference.
Feel free to reach out and I would be happy to discuss what unique challenges you may be facing and see if working together might be a good fit. Please reach out via Thriving Campus or on my website directly!
