Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC, SUDP
Accepting clients Last Updated 19 days ago

I have experience working with a variety of clients, ranging from 3-40 years old. I work primarily with teens who struggle with substance abuse and difficulties with impulse control. This includes individuals who have co-occurring diagnoses of depression, anxiety, and stressor-related disorders. I believe that substance use and mental health are connected and should be addressed that way.

My education is rooted in cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed care. I operate from a person-centered, empathetic, and strengths-based lens. I utilize CBT, DBT, MI, existential, and mindfulness techniques to meet the individual needs of the client.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship can serve as a catalyst for growth and healing. I approach therapy from the lens that the client holds their answers and innermost truth. The therapist is there to help guide them to the peace that they hold within themselves!
