Kindra Carpenter
Hi, I'm Kindra, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 8 years of experience working with pre-teens, teens, young adults, and families. I specialize in anxiety, trauma, depression, ADD/ADHD, anger management, family conflict, self-esteem, and life transitions. My background includes in-home family therapy, a specialized school for youth with complex trauma, and school counseling. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Play Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. I tailor each approach to your unique needs, strengths, and goals. Good therapy should feel like it was built for you.
In our first session, expect a warm welcome and a conversation about what brings you to therapy. I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey and work at a pace that feels right for you.
