The transition into adulthood years can be rocky and confusing, even for the most well-adjusted. Along with navigating new social dynamics and relationships, there are big life changes and more demanding academics. Often during this time young adults are needing additional support to expand their understanding of themselves and cope with their changing world.

It is very important to a space in which you able to process your experiences, and express your emotions knowing you are safe to do so. I look to create that secure confidential space, while also helping you to advocate for yourself and communicate with those in your life. Even those with the most present and supportive family and friends benefit from having a safe space outside of their social and family circles to figure out what they are feeling, who they are, and how handle conflict.

I have significant experience working with diverse populations of children and young adults, and am passionate about helping people overcome obstacles and thrive. I take an empathetic, nonjudgmental but honest approach to therapy and seek to meet people where they are at.

I grew up in Vermont but lived in Hawai'i and NYC for several years before landing in Golden, Colorado. In my free time I enjoy hiking in the mountains, going to the beach or lake, live music and spending time with my rescue dog, Hendrix.
