Hello, I'm Kimberly. As a therapist, I believe safety in relationships is key. I value listening with compassion and non-judgment, and I focus on joining with clients to move through difficult past issues, bring balance to present-day struggles, and grow in confidence in navigating future concerns.
I have had a wide variety of training in Interpersonal Neurobiology, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and other trauma-informed modalities. My journey in the mental health field has taken me through diverse settings, including inpatient psychiatric care, emergency rooms, schools, community mental health, and private practice. These experiences have enriched my understanding and ability to support clients in various stages of their lives.
I specialize in working with children and adults, addressing mental and behavioral health issues, anger management, anxiety, depression, family relationships, grief and bereavement, intimate and romantic relationships, life transitions, PTSD, spirituality, stress, trauma, and addiction. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth for those who prefer or require remote sessions.
In my personal life, I enjoy the simple things, such as spending time in nature, enjoying quality time with others, a good night of sleep, and a hot cup of coffee in the morning. I deeply value and invest in my close relationships, which I believe helps me stay grounded and connected.
If you're looking for a therapist who will listen with compassion and help you navigate your journey, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can work towards a balanced and confident future.
