Kimberly Carlin
Hi! I’m Kimberly Carlin, LPC, and I work with women over 18 who want support navigating the ups and downs of life. Between work, relationships, family responsibilities, and personal growth, it’s normal to feel stressed, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to cope. I help women work through:
* Anxiety, stress, and burnout
* Relationship challenges and setting boundaries
* Trauma or emotional abuse
* Grief or major life transitions
* Body image and disordered eating
* Pressure to be “perfect” or meet high expectations
* Life transitions such as parenting, career changes, or caregiving responsibilities
Here’s what therapy with me looks like:
CBT: Helps you spot unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier ones.
ACT: Teaches you to accept feelings and focus on what matters most.
Somatic Therapy: Uses your body to release stored stress, tension, and anxiety.
IFS (Internal Family Systems): Helps you explore different parts of yourself and understand conflicting thoughts, emotions, or behaviors.
Inner Child Work: Helps you understand how past experiences shape your feelings today.
EMDR: A specialized approach that helps painful memories feel less overwhelming.
Christian Counseling and Prayer (optional): For women who desire, therapy can integrate Biblical principles, prayer, and exploring God’s perspective of who you are to guide healing, self-worth, and decision-making.
I provide online therapy and am licensed in multiple states, so you can continue care even if you travel, work remotely or move. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel understood, gain clarity, and build tools to navigate life with more confidence, self-compassion, and faith-based guidance if desired.
Whether you’re feeling stressed, struggling with relationships, wanting to process trauma, or navigating major life transitions, I’m here to support you.
