Khadra Kore

I am fluent in both English and Somali.

My name is Khadra Kore. I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I earned my PMHNP from Mount Carmel College of Nursing. I am passionate about providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients with psychiatric disorders seeking support. I also have over 15 years extensive medical background in a pulmonary/medical/surgical/complex care experience as a registered nurse where caring for the patient holistically was the key to a successful recovery. My medical background combined with my mental health skills and experience has prepared me in addressing the complex needs of individuals with mental illnesses.

I like to work with my patient’s comfort level and involve the patient in creating their plan of care. Together we can set goals for treatment and create a customizable plan of care. My goal is to make a positive impact and provide culturally sensitive and comprehensive and effective care to patients. My goal for the patient is to reach optimal function and we will work together to achieve it though the process looks different for every individual.
