Kenzie Baques
I believe the therapeutic process can be enlightening, challenging, at times uncomfortable, but ultimately transformative and healing. My hope for the relationship we co-create in this process as therapist and client is that you feel affirmed, cared for, safe, and valued. Through a holistic perspective that integrates the mind and body, I aim to empower my clients to identify with and realign with their values in order to achieve their goals and express their most authentic selves. I am passionate about helping individuals move past trauma so it no longer defines their present day experiences.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and my practice draws upon the modalities and foundations of EMDR (formally trained), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, Systems Theory, Empowerment Perspective, and the mind-body connection. I am trauma informed and inclusive.
I have had the pleasure of working with adults, young-adults, adolescents, first responders, active military duty, veterans, individuals who have experienced sexual assault, anxiety, depression, and relational conflicts. I have a particular focus on PTSD and trauma. I deeply look forward to what lies ahead in our work together.
