Kelly Thoene is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addiction Specialist with more than 20 of experience specializing in trauma (PTSD), depression, anxiety, panic disorders, mood dysregulation (Bipolar), behavior management difficulties (ODD, Conduct Disorder and DBD), substance abuse, gender dysphoria and LGBQT+ issues. Kelly has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver in Colorado. She received a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education with a concentration in Psychology from Muskingum College in Ohio. In addition, Kelly had special certifications in Special Education and Early Childhood Education.

Kelly has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families, as well as groups in multiple settings. In her clinical work, Kelly is well versed in more directive modalities (CBT, DBT, and EMDR) as well as creative modalities such as expressive therapies (art/music), play therapy and guided imagery.

In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with husband, daughter, family and friends. You can often find her spending time outdoors, road biking, camping, fishing, rafting and (her favorite), baking. She is excited to get a chance to meet with you where you are and find out together what growth you can make!.
