KC Cross

Licensed Professional Counselor, MS, LPC
Last Updated 30+ days ago

Therapy should not be scary, cold, or disconnected. I strive to make a genuine personal connection with each of my clients on a level that is most comfortable and beneficial to them. I believe it is important to see and learn of the whole person (experiences, identities, etc) rather than just their presenting issues.

I have 5 years of experience working with college students (18-50 years old) who present with a number of different concerns including depression, anxiety, adjustment, stress, identity, and trauma. I've spent the majority of my career in university counseling centers (University of Arkansas and University of Wisconsin-Madison) working with a diverse group of individuals.

I specialize in working with the following populations & common issues that they may face: LGBQ+, transgender, gender nonconforming/nonbinary, and people of color. I also provide some sexual health education for those individuals who are exploring their sexual selves.
