Degrees and professional experience are important, but what's more important is finding the right fit for your counselor. I am a believer that a healthy counseling relationship is key to therapeutic progress. I believe that laughter can, at times, be an important part of progress and healing. People often think that counseling has to be stuffy or serious, but if that's not who you are, you may find it does not lead you to progress. I try to create a therapeutic space that allows people to share openly and honestly. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and that you have the ability to make progress towards your goals.
I believe that counseling looks different for every person, and strive to create a personalized experience for all clients. I have Unique experience working in the areas of anxiety, depression, emotional regulation and communication as well as with PTSD. I look forward to seeing how together we can make a positive impact on your life.
A little about me, I was born with cerebral palsy, I am a former distance runner and enjoy spending time in the sun. In my free time, I enjoy performing and watching standup comedy, gardening, playing board games and spending time with my wife and dog. Finding a counselor you connect with is important. If I sound like that person please reach out!
