YES - I am currently accepting new clients. I specialize in navigating issues such as stress, anxiety, relationships, life transitions, sexual orientation and gender identity. My primary focus in therapy is to establish a trusting, genuine relationship with clients. I strive to support clients with honest feedback and encouragement, along with humor. Using an intersectional feminist approach, we'll focus on strengths to make small, measurable goals for incremental change. Clients willing to read, journal, or listen to podcasts to supplement sessions are also likely to be a good fit.
Before becoming a therapist I was a full time sexual health educator at UGA for ten years, so I am experienced in providing sex therapy for both individual and couples. Most of my clients identify as LGBTQIA+ or allies. I also serve individuals and couples who practice BDSM, kink, polyamory, and ethical non-monogamy and provide consultation for therapists.
I recognize the intersectionality of marginalized identities within our society and the resulting impact on our emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. You deserve to be seen and heard. Reaching out and deciding to be fully authentic in therapy takes courage, and I am excited to support you through the next chapter of your journey.
I can provide you with paperwork for reimbursement from your insurance company if you are seeking out-of-network sessions.
