I am a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist. I completed my Bachelor’s at University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002 and her Master’s at Northern Illinois University in 2005. I am currently licensed in Texas and Missouri.
My specialities are working with individuals, couples, families and children dealing with divorce/separation, blended families, and absent parents. I have also worked with a variety of individuals including those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, families dealing with substance abuse/alcoholism, and those exposed to neighborhood violence. I like cognitive behavior and systems theory as an approach to therapy and will point out roles, rules, and dynamics that often play out in families in order to facilitate change.
I offer only telehealth/video sessions so you don't have to leave the comforts of your own home.
