Katlyn Wells Counseling
I believe that everyone has the strength and resilience already in themselves to overcome challenges, navigate difficult circumstances, and have meaningful connections with others. My approach to therapy is strength-based, holistic, and largely focuses on using mindfulness-based techniques and practices.
In the last 14 years I have had the privilege to work with a wide variety of students from diverse backgrounds, cultures, identities, and lived experiences. I've had the privilege to work with first generation college students, international students, adult learners pursuing a second career, and younger students adjusting to independent life and college for the first time. In the past 4 years I have specialized in in working with college and graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in the health sciences field.
I understand how challenging it can be to navigate these stressful times and how difficult it can be to find a balance between taking care of yourself and reaching your academic potential. It can get better and I'd like to help.
