I'm so glad you've decide to take the first steps in this journey! I work primarily with young adults, children, adolescents, and individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+. I enjoy working with people exploring their identity, navigating life transitions, experiencing anxiety/depression, and trauma. As a relational therapist, I use a person-centered approach and believe that the relationship between therapist and client is the strongest tool in therapy. I aim to create a collaborative and compassionate environment during my sessions, striving to provide a non-judgmental and affirming approach to my practice.
I use gentle curiosity, empathy, some humor, and occasional appropriate self-disclosure to help clients feel safe expressing their authentic selves and showing up however they are. I welcome any way for you to feel comfortable, whether it's bringing in a favorite iced coffee, listening to a song you connect with, or relating to your video game/show interest.
Through working together, I hope you will feel more supported, validated, and ready to process and heal. I'm happy to work at any stage of the therapeutic process for you, first-time or returning to therapy. I am available Monday through Friday for in person or TeleTherapy. I look forward to working with you!
