Kathleen Niegocki
Hi! I'm Kathleen. I help young adults build self-trust and emotional clarity so they can live in more authentic and fulfilling ways. I am a licensed psychologist with 15 years of experience providing therapy to young adults and university students. My style is warm, interactive, and transparent.
Many of my clients come to therapy because they are tired of feeling: uncomfortable with their emotions, bogged down by supporting others, guilty for having needs, too busy to slow down, afraid of being “too much,” overwhelmed or shut down, unsure what they truly want, or held back from expressing their true selves.
My work is about helping people to better understand their inner experiences (emotions, needs, values, beliefs, etc.), to experience self-compassion, to achieve clarity about who they are and what matters to them, and to make changes to improve their relationships (with themselves and others) and to live more liberated, authentic lives.
I believe we are all wired to heal and grow, no matter how great our suffering, and that healing and growth can occur in a relationship that is safe, genuine, affirming, collaborative, and deeply caring. This is the type of connection I aim to create with my clients.
